First, the physical form of the new device. Thickness at only 0.37-inch, the iPhone 4 is about 25% thinner than the existing iPhone 3GS. Bonded front and back by specialty aluminosilicate glass (the same used on helicopter windshield glass) that is about 30-time harder than plastic it is the most durable, scratch-resistant iPhone ever.
